When they reached the time when they thought the dead returned, they thought they might encounter these ghosts whenever they left their houses. The wearing of masks and costumes grew from these people donning masks so the ghosts would not recognize them!

This holiday was brought to the US by Scotch and Irish immigrants in the 1800s. At that time, much of the "spookiness" of the holiday was removed and a sense of community and fun were added. Although scary themes are still the focus of many Halloween celebrations, that scariness is done for fun, not because of actual fear.

My best tip, when visiting the tree, is to enter Rockefeller Center from the 5th Avenue side and walk through the horn-blowing Angels toward the tree. Entering from the side, 47th or 50th streets is just not the same view or experience. The Rockefeller Center map will clarify exactly how to do this so you don't spoil your first view of the tree. It's truly a sight to walk through the Angels, toward the Ice Skating Rink, looking at Prometheus.

Installation and Application:
Assembling: Put the stake onto the tube at the back.
Installation: find a place for the lights with clear and full exposure to the sun. Insert the stake into the ground. If the ground is too hard, do not twist or hammer it with force. Failure to follow this may result in product damaged.
Expose the solar panel to direct sunshine. Make the solar panel faces right to the noon sun.
At the back of the solar light, there is a 3-way-switch; middle position for ¡°OFF¡±, left and right position is for blinking or steady-on lighting performance. For initial application, we suggest the solar panel be exposed to the sun (to fully charge the battery) for 1 day or more with manual switch on.
Push the switch to ON or FLASH. The string light now is ready to work automatically at dusk.
Please uninstall the safety cover of switch before using.
